Bob Elliott - Workshop/Jam Coordinator & President of Music Makers

Bob Elliott is the founder and President of Music Makers NY. He sold his Harley Davidson motorcycle to buy his first amp & guitar, a Fender twin amplifier and a 1961 Les Paul SG and he has never looked back. In 1997, Bob opened Music Makers NY which has grown to a complex featuring 10 state of the art rooms for rehearsal, lessons, band programs and jam sessions for ages 8 thru 80.

Bob's love of music was the driving force in creating a music complex where kids and adults could not only take lessons but learn how to play with others in a band setting. He was drawn to the enthusiasm of non-professional musicians of all skill levels thereby creating The Band Experience and Saturday Night Reserved Jam programs. In addition, Music Makers has produced Performance Shows debuting the talents of its many students and clients at The Bitter End for the last 17 years.

“Since 1997 I’ve lost count as to how many musicians I’ve taken to the stage with our live shows.”

Bob is also the inventor of GuitarDocks, a small portable guitar stand exclusively distributed by D’Addario.
