In the past decade, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator Kyle Morgan has released 4 records of original material. Each album features his earnest tenor voice and distinctive conglomeration of Americana styles: from stripped-down acoustic ballads and love-lorn parlor laments to roaring alt-country and throwback 60’s rock’n’roll. His latest release and label debut, Younger at Most Everything, came out on Team Love Records in 2022. From 2013-2016, Kyle toured extensively both in the U.S. and Europe with Maine-based string band Tumbling Bones. In 2014 the band was chosen by the U.S. State Department-sponsored non-profit American Music Abroad to travel to 4 countries in Eastern Europe, performing as cultural diplomats. Since moving to New York in 2018, Kyle has worked as a music educator and workshop facilitator at Replay Music Studios, Church Street School of Music & Art, The Jalopy Theatre & School of Music, and now Bob Elliot’s Music Makers. Kyle performs throughout the city under his name and with a number of collaborators including Isaac Gillespie, WishWish, Tamar Korn, and Jason Trachtenburg.
