Music Makers Premier Adult Band Ensemble Program will enhance your understanding of how a band works. We’ll break down the songs in detail, stretch out, learn beginnings & endings, refine solos, rhythms, patterns & leads. You’ll gain control over sound and technique, go over individual parts & combine them to create a better band sound. Learn different ways to approach a song while gaining confidence as a player. Play & learn from an advanced level instructor. Each participant receives access to our student portal where you'll be able to access all class materials.

DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, THIS WORKSHOP IS BACK!
Two of the greatest bands of all time. But who's better? Hard to say? Come play a set of songs from both bands and decide for yourself. This workshop will feature songs from both bands, from their early hits to later masterpieces. The coordinator will pick songs to start, but participants are encouraged to make suggestions so that we can finally find out who wins: BEATLES VS STONES!

LIVE-STREAM PERFORMANCE FROM STUDIO 1
Classic Rock, Blues, and other popular genres will be covered. Are you currently taking lessons? No experience or limited experience playing with others? This workshop is for you! Learn the ins and outs of what's going on in each song. Determine what key the song is in, how to solo over the changes, find the right rhythm to play, and sing along with the other instruments. At the end of this workshop, there will be an in-house performance!
Vocalists: Feel the songs & work on getting the right vocal accompaniment without having to rush through each song.
Guitar Players: Learn how to use technique and effects to compliment or lead the band's sound.
Bass Players: Learn how to lay the rhythmic and harmonic foundation for the band.
Drummers: learn to lay the rhythmic foundation alongside the bassist, driving the band forward with percussion.
Keyboard players: Learn basic rhythmic and harmonic patterns to accompany pop songs and improvise. Enrich the band's sound with an assortment of synthesized sounds.
Let's open that music door together. You'll have fun making music in a non-judgmental, welcoming environment. A wide variety of rock and blues tunes are covered. Your Musical Director will select several songs for the first rehearsal. The band will play the songs to determine where everyone is at musically.

Songs like (but not limited to): Total Eclipse of the Heart, Every Breath You Take, Don't Stop Believing, Don't You Want Me, Sweet Child o' Mine, Safety Dance, Walking On Sunshine, With Or Without You, Don't You (Forget About Me).
Participants will be asked to suggest some of their favorite songs from this excellent era.
